Like many others I too experienced dryness and boredom when praying the holy rosary prayer. But for the love of our Blessed Mother I persevered, then I dropped out again. Then, one day a priest said to me, have you asked God for the grace to pray it, and be given the understanding, knowledge and wisdom when praying the various mysteries? I heeded his advice and I asked. And then, God answered my prayer, and since then, I could never put it down no matter how late or how tired I am. And I also started praying the Divine Office which is God-the Father-centered prayer, complimented by the Christo-Marian Centred Holy Rosary Prayer. My spiritual life has reached a greater height. Jesus our Lord did promise – ask and you shall receive. I believe in his word as he has said it and it is true.
